Overview:
From July 4th to July 22nd, 2022, Both of our schools will prepare students from all around the world to learn Computer-Aided Design, Digital Manufacturing, Creative Coding, Electronics together in an inspiring and multi-cultural environment to create and finalize their very own project in Robotics !
This program will take place on our campus in the middle of Paris 6th district, France, and will provide accesses to our manufacturing labs, skilled supervisors and researchers joining throughout the programme to share their experience. We will develop each student’s technical skills as well as soft skills, to prepare them to face project troubleshooting issues, and to be active leaders through co-working sessions, situations that they are likely to encounter upon graduation, in their future working life.
At the end of this 3-weeks-long Summer School, ESME and EPITECH Paris will grant them 6 ECTS Credits, officialized by both institutions, with a certified Diploma, and a detailed transcript of records so that your institution can value the teaching and the courses that your students followed in Paris with us.
Throughout this program, we will organize cultural activities in Paris and its surrounding countryside, in iconic places and pittoresque french sceneries. French Lessons are also part of the program, since this Summer School will be entirely taught in English !
Applications and ways to attend:
This summer school is aimed from 1st year undergraduate students up to graduate students, regardless of their field of study.
Nonetheless, we would like them to have basic knowledge in Science and Technology, and some knowledge in Programing.
What will matter the most to us upon screening will be their motivation to participate in a maker project.
A English intermediate B2 level is also required, since this summer school is taught in English !
We would like to offer this Summer School on a bi-modal format: It will be possible for students to join us both on-site, in Paris, and online, through platforms and live events.
On-site course fees:
For the on-site course, we are taking care of everything our students might need.
The Presential course fees are all inclusive : They include 3-week lodging in a Parisian studio (At the Cité Universitaire of Paris) tuition fees, breakfast & lunch meals, excursions and cultural activities, robotics material kit, French language classes and transportation card for the full month.
They are about 2.400 EUR all included.
Online course fees :
For the online course, we will adapt our syllabus, so that it will allow us to share the best learning experience possible.
The online course fees will cover the tuition fees, robotics material kits, French language classes and cultural activities.
They are of 900 EUR.
Partner institution discount:
ESME and EPITECH’s partner institutions, thanks to long-time and good relations through international exchanges and Erasmus agreements, are systematically eligible to discounts, for this program as well.
So if students from your university or faculty are interested in joining us this summer, the fees for the presential course will be reduced to 2.200 EUR.
