11th WMCCAU Congress 2026
We are pleased to warmly invite you to the 11th edition of WMCCAU – World Multidisciplinary Congress on Civil Engineering, Architecture and Urban Planning, which will be held in Ostrava as a continuation of the ten successful previous editions – Technical University of Ostrava, from 31 August to 4 September 2026.
The registration system is now open, and you are welcome to submit your contributions—both abstracts and full papers—through this link.
The aim of WMCCAU is to provide a platform for sharing expertise, scientific knowledge, and innovative research results in civil engineering, architecture, urban planning, and related disciplines. Our congress seeks to bring together established experts as well as early-career researchers in a friendly and inspiring environment that encourages scientific exchange, collaboration, and the development of new professional connections.
All accepted papers presented at WMCCAU 2026 will undergo a peer-review process and will be indexed in SCOPUS and, where applicable, also in the Web of Science database.
As in previous years, WMCCAU also offers the opportunity to organize a special thematic session dedicated to emerging or innovative research topics aligned with the scope of the congress. A special session requires a minimum of 10 presenters (oral or poster). As a token of appreciation, the session organizer will receive a complimentary registration fee.

International Week and International Scientific Conference - Maribor
As part of the 18th International Week, organized from May 11 to 15, 2026, the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Maribor will host the 10th International Scientific Conference on May 12, 2026.
The primary objective of FEB International Week is to foster international collaboration with our partners, exchange knowledge and best practices through lectures, presentations, and workshops, and enhance international research opportunities.
The 2026 conference theme, “Sustainable Governance and Management: Navigating the ESG and AI Transformation,« focuses on the critical role of sustainable governance and management in an era of rapid technological and societal transformation. It will explore how organizations can effectively integrate ESG principles (Environmental, Social, and Governance) while navigating the ethical, managerial, and strategic challenges associated with the rise of artificial intelligence (AI).
Participants will have the opportunity to exchange research findings, best practices, and perspectives on aligning management systems with long-term sustainability goals. The conference aims to foster resilience, credibility, ethics, and innovation in the global business environment.
We invite scholars to submit their research findings focusing on the challenges in a turbulent economic environment and companies' sustainable management. The deadline for abstract submission is January 18, 2026. There is no Conference fee.
Authors of selected papers will also be invited to submit extended versions for publication in:
• Journal of Contemporary Issues in Economics and Business – Naše gospodarstvo / Our Economy (indexed in EconLit, ERIH Plus, DOAJ, EBSCO, ProQuest, etc.)
• Kybernetes (published by Emerald; indexed in SCI, SSCI, Scopus, etc.)
• An additional international scientific journal indexed in Scopus, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

9th International Conference on Myth Criticism / IX Congreso Internacional de Mitocrítica
From 26 to 30 October 2026 at the Complutense University of Madrid we will hold the 9th International Conference on Myth Criticism with the aim of reflecting on the relationship between myth and woman, from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
The deadline for submitting proposals through the form available on the website is 15 May 2026. Presentations may be delivered in Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Catalan. The format will be hybrid—both online and in person. A selection of papers will later be published in Amaltea. Journal of Myth Criticism, nos. 19 (2027) and 20 (2028). The registration fee includes daily refreshments, a social gathering, and a welcome kit, among other benefits. Members of Asteria, the International Association of Myth Criticism will receive a discount on the registration fee. We also offer grants for students and unemployed researchers.

2nd SEED conference on Sustainable Energy Education, Utrecht, the Netherlands
