International Week | Universidad Europea

UNIVERSIDAD EUROPEA have the great pleasure to invite you to the INTERNATIONAL WEEK that will take place from October 26th to 29th, 2026.
The event will combine an International Staff Program and an International Lecture Program.
Each participant can choose which program to participate in or even choose both. Please note: Participation in the International Staff Program is exclusive to university partners members.

Theme suggestion for the Lecture Program: Sustainability: Educating for a Sustainable Future
Higher education plays a key role in preparing students to address global sustainability challenges. This theme invites educators to reflect on how teaching and learning can contribute to environmental, social, and economic sustainability, encouraging participating faculty to align their sessions with these values across disciplines.
Note: Other proposals will be accepted if they fit within the programs offered in our institutions. Please consult the list of programs taught in English in attachment ( the whole portfolio can be found in our website: https://universidadeuropea.com/en/oncampus-programmes/

Staff Week FLE 2026

We are pleased to inform you that CLARIFE (Center for Languages and Intercultural Relations of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities) is organizing an international Staff Week dedicated to French as a Foreign Language (FLE), which will take place from June 29 to July 3, 2026, at the Catholic University of Lille.

This week is intended for teaching and administrative staff and offers two distinct programs:
• Administrative Mobility (up to 36 participants): FLE courses adapted to three levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced), complemented by intercultural communication sessions and cultural activities.
• Teaching Mobility (up to 6 participants): a week of collaborative development of FLE teaching tools, including teaching sessions and two thematic conferences open to all.

Both mobility programs include:
✔ Lunches and coffee breaks
✔ A guided tour of Old Lille
✔ A welcome cocktail on Monday evening
✔ For Administrative Mobility : the Bright French certification at the end of the week

This Staff Week is also a valuable opportunity to build lasting connections between our institutions and explore future partnerships.

KU Leuven Erasmus Staff Week 2026

Visit KU Leuven during the International Staff Week and build your international network whilst exploring some of the most beautiful towns in Belgium. Join us from Tuesday 27/10/2026 until Friday 30/10/2026.

6th  International Staff Training Week

Welcome to the 6th  International Staff Training Week  - Cybersecurity at a Crossroads in the Age of Global Digital Threats - organized by the University of L’Aquila - Italy, scheduled to take place from 13th October to 15th  October  2026 in L'Aquila.   

We will examine Cybersecurity with a focus on security issues related to the digitization of processes and the corresponding measures aimed at preventing data loss, data breaches and business interruption, even in the event of natural disasters, and so on. 

This engaging week aims at exploring the different aspects of the topic and will give the participants the opportunity to network and share their best practices with colleagues from European and non-European universities.

This training is dedicated to lecturers who face increasing expectations to integrate sustainability into their curricula, address global challenges, and modernise their teaching practice.
It is designed to support these evolving professional responsibilities in a structured and practical way.

The workshop enables participants to:

• Develop teaching materials aligned with accreditation and policy requirements
• Align teaching with institutional sustainability strategies
• Increase student engagement through relevant global topics

University of Deusto Staff Week

The University of Deusto is pleased to invite international university staff to participate in the Staff Week on Internationalisation at Home, which will take place from 9th to 12th of  June 2026 at our Bilbao Campus.
This Staff Week aims to create a collaborative space for professionals working in internationalisation to share experiences, best practices and challenges, fostering mutual learning and strengthening international cooperation among universities. Through workshops, discussions and networking activities, participants will have the opportunity to learn from and with each other in an open and dynamic environment.

Bilbao is a vibrant city that perfectly combines tradition and modernity. Known for its cultural transformation, iconic architecture such as the Guggenheim Museum, and its welcoming atmosphere, Bilbao also offers outstanding gastronomy and easy access to nature. The number of participants is limited, so if the number of applications received exceeds this figure, an internal selection process will be carried out based on the following criteria: Fluency in English (C1 equivalent), quality of the application, geographical and institutional balance; administrative staff and academic representatives proportionality; and gender equality.

International Research & Teaching Days at THM (Germany) June 2026

The THM, Germany cordially invites you to join us for our International Research and Teaching Days, taking place from 8 - 12 June 2026. These days are meant to connect researchers working on similar topics and establish new potential collaborations. This year, the research focus will be on Computer Science, Economy & Management, and Sustainable Engineering & Environmental Systems.

Invitation to Universitat de Girona’s 2nd International Staff Week

We are thrilled to announce that the Universitat de Girona (UdG) will host its 2nd International Staff Week, taking place from June 1st to June 5th, 2026, in the beautiful city of Girona, Catalonia.

The Staff Week will be conducted fully in English and is aimed at International Officers or staff members involved in international affairs.

Main topics:
• Internationalization at home practices
• European Universities Alliances
• Environmental Change
• Inclusion

Participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses, ideally through Erasmus+ STT funds available at their home institutions.

The registration fee is 100€, which includes a guided tour, a cultural outing, coffee breaks, lunches, and one formal dinner.

SAVE THE DATE: International Staff Exchange Week at Clausthal University of Technology in 2026

We are very pleased to let you know that we are going to hold the International Staff Exchange Week in 2026.

The event is going to take place from June 8 – June 12 in 2026.

The program will be designed for members of International Offices *and* for teaching staff as well. It will be a wonderful opportunity to meet friends, potential new partners as well as to discuss current issues of International Mobility, to learn from each other in person and to get to know our green university in the Harz mountains.

On June 09 2026 there will also be the Campus Open Air Festival as well as the Camus Fun Run.

 

Staff week at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology
