Erasmus+ BIP Summer Institute 2026 – The X-Factor in Future Cities

We are pleased to invite your students to participate in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme “Home: The X-Factor in Future Cities – Summer Institute 2026”, hosted by the Technical University of Košice.

This international programme focuses on key urban challenges such as housing affordability, sustainability, climate resilience, and the role of AI in shaping future cities. Participants will benefit from expert lectures, interdisciplinary teamwork, and a hands-on “Hack the City” bootcamp experience.

 BIP Staff Week on “Welcome Services and Support Offers for international students”

Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) is organising a Staff Week on “Welcome Services and Support Offers for international students”, covering topics from pre-onboarding to job market preparation throughout the student life cycle. The staff week is organised as a Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) with an online part on the 28th of April from 2:00 to 3:30 pm CET and a physical part at LUH from the 29.06.2026 to the 03.07.2026.

During this week you will have the opportunity to learn more about the welcome services and support offers for international students at LUH and at our BIP partner from the European Alliance EULiST, as well as share and discuss best practice with us.

The objective is to learn more about each other and the services offered at each university and enable each participant to develop new ideas about welcome services and support offers.

Digital Media in Health Communication and Literacy (May 2026)

We are pleased to share the Call for Applications for the EUGLOH training activity “Digital Media in Health Communication and Literacy”, which will take place in a blended format from 12 to 22 May 2026, including a five-day in-person hackathon in Porto, Portugal.

We would be very grateful for your support in disseminating this opportunity within your institution and relevant networks, targeting students, researchers, academic and administrative staff from all disciplines.

Participants will work in interdisciplinary teams to develop creative science communication projects using digital media, storytelling and design methodologies, addressing real societal challenges connected to One Health research.
The activity is conducted in English and awards 3 ECTS.

Sustainability as a Driver of Innovation and Development

June 8-12, 2026 | Università degli Studi di Cagliari

This five-day intensive program explores key sustainability challenges. Through expert-led sessions, interactive discussions, and site visits, participants will gain valuable insights into sustainable solutions. Topics include circular economy, sustainable tourism, industry and energy, and environmental ecosystems, complemented by a visit to an industrial facility and an excursion to an archaeological site.

As part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP), the school combines in-person activities with a mandatory virtual component, fostering transnational collaboration and innovative learning. Networking opportunities, including a social dinner, will enhance idea exchange among participants.
By the end of the program, attendees will be equipped with practical knowledge applicable to both academic and professional contexts, earning at least 3 ECTS credits.

UniTrento BIP Short-Term Programs

We are happy to share with you the webpage about our BIP Short-Term Programs for International Students-STP4IS addressed to senior Bachelor’s students (who have finished the 2nd year of studies) and all Master’s students coming from partner universities.

 

Upcoming BIP for staff at TTK UAS- Teaching with AI: Strategies, Tools and Pedagogies

Target Audience: STEM university teachers and educators interested in integrating AI into their teaching practice. 

Who Should Apply: This BIP is aimed at STEM university teachers from all fields who are interested in exploring how AI can support their teaching, learning activities, and student engagement. Participants should have at least some prior experience with AI tools (e.g., having experimented with them before) and an interest in exploring new technologies and their potential applications in education.

The objective of the BIP is to provide STEM educators with practical tools and strategies to integrate Generative AI into their teaching practices. This BIP is designed to help participants better understand AI's pedagogical potential and to equip them with concrete skills for using AI in the classroom. You will learn with and from an international team of trainers from Spain, Romania, Austria, Belgium, and Ukraine, and exchange practices with STEM lecturers from across Europe. 

The BIP consists of two main parts:

  • AI Didactics — Understanding how AI can be integrated into teaching practices to create a student-centred, active learning environment.
  • Hands-on AI Tools — Participants will engage in practical workshops to learn how to use AI tools (for content creation, assessment, OER development, and AI assistants) directly in their own teaching practices.

Call for Institutional Partners – Erasmus+ BIP Summer School 2026

We are pleased to invite your institution to join CROSSWORLDS – Multilingual and Intercultural Encounters across Borders, an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) to be held at the University of Enna “Kore” (Sicily, Italy) from 8 to 14 June 2026, with additional online sessions before and after the on-site week.

The programme is organised by the Department of Classical, Foreign Languages and Education Studies and focuses on multilingualism, intercultural communication and inclusive practices in contemporary Europe. CROSSWORLDS explores how languages and cultures cross borders and shape meaning, identity and social participation, combining virtual exchange with an intensive on-site experience.

We are currently seeking an additional institutional partner within the EU interested in participating in this BIP by:
• sending 5–10 students per institution, and
• involving teaching staff in the academic activities.
Programme highlights include:
• online introductory and follow-up sessions,
• lectures and workshops on multilingualism, intercultural communication and inclusion,
• collaborative academic and digital projects,
• a cultural excursion and guided intercultural reflection activities.
The programme is open to students and staff from Erasmus Charter institutions and awards a minimum of 3 ECTS credits. Erasmus+ funding covers programme organisation and student/staff mobility in accordance with BIP regulations.

Participants will work collaboratively across institutions and disciplines – both online and during a one-week on-site phase at our university.
