ERASMUS+ Traineeship Program for Stipendium Hungaricum, Diaspora and Christian Young People Scholarship Holders

The application period for the 2026/2027 academic year is now open!

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, SH, SCYP, DFP STUDENTS

Who can apply?

• Self-funded international students with active student status.
• Stipendium Hungaricum (SH), Diaspora (DFP), and Christian Young People Scholarship (SCYP) students who have active student status before graduation.

Important for scholarship holders: You can only complete your traineeship after graduation to avoid double funding. However, you must submit your application before your final exam.

How to apply

1. Find a company where you can do your traineeship.
2. Ask the company to complete and sign the Learning Agreement for Traineeship.
3. Get the Learning Agreement signed by your Faculty Erasmus Coordinator.
4. Complete the application form in Excel format.
5. Email all required documents to szakgyak@bme.hu.

Traineeship duration

• Minimum: 2 months
• Maximum: 12 months
• The traineeship must be completed within one year of obtaining your absolutorium.

Deadline for applications: continuous

BUT: it has to be sent in 4 weeks prior to the start date of the mobility! 

Important: if it is closer than 3 weeks, we won't be able to accept the application!
